Mwaka Nawila Foundation
About Mwaka Nawila Foundation
Building resilient communities through education, empowerment, and sustainable resources.
Our Mission
To provide sustainable resources, quality education, and innovative economic opportunities to underserved communities, ensuring long-term self-reliance and growth.
Our Vision
A world where every individual, regardless of their background, has the access and agency to lead a life of dignity, health, and limitless potential.
Our History
Founded in 2015, Mwaka Nawila Foundation began as a small community-led initiative in response to the growing educational gap in rural districts. What started with a single classroom and three volunteers has blossomed into a multi-national effort.
Our journey has been defined by the stories of those we serve. From drilling our first well to launching the Women’s Vocational Program, every milestone is a testament to the power of community collaboration and transparent leadership.
Our Leadership Team
Guided by empathy and professional excellence, our board and executives ensure every contribution reaches its full potential.
