Stakeholders Unite to Address Teenage Pregnancy in Kitwe

Today, the Kitwe team convened a productive stakeholders meeting focused on tackling teenage pregnancy and advancing the wellbeing of adolescents. The meeting brought together community leaders, teachers, healthcare providers, parents, and other key partners to explore practical solutions for protecting and empowering young people.
Discussions centered on strengthening community support systems, increasing access to accurate Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information, promoting education, and creating safer environments where adolescents can thrive. The engagement highlighted the shared responsibility of families, schools, health facilities, and communities in safeguarding the future of the girl child.
